Engine 3 and Rescue 4 responded to the 800 block of NE 870 RD to a report of a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival on scene fire fighters found a Corvette that had an electrical issue and had started a small fire behind the rear passenger quater panel. The vehicle owner had an extinguisher in which he used to extinguish the fire before fire fighters arrived on scene. These photos show the scene. Fire fighters used a hand line to extinguish remaining hot spots underneath the car. Fire fighters report only minor damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle. Click on photo to enlarge!
