			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rescue 5 responded to the 800 block of NE 701 road to an alarm of a male patient complaining of severe hip pain.  Upon arrival on scene first responders assisted GVMH Unit 17 with patient care and loading of the patient in the ambulance. With no other needs required, Rescue 5 went in service.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Engine 3 responded to the 300 block of W. 1st street to an alarm of a house full of smoke and all residents have been evacuated.  Upon arrival on scene the back door was opened for venting and firefighters made entry to investigate and search for the source of the smoke.  Firefighters determined that the smoke was coming from the residences&#8217; wood stove.  Once the smoke had cleared out from the residence, Engine 3 went in service.</p>

Upon arrival on scene first responders assessed the patient and determined the patient was experiencing hypoglycemia. GVMH Unit 16 arrived on scene and gave the patient glucose which ultimately raised his blood sugar to normal levels. The patient refused medical transport, Unit 16 and Rescue 5 went in service.</p>
